INTRODUCTION
Nova deals primarily in forms of money used
throughout history. We inventory coins (600 BCE to current), paper money (1300
CE to current), odd & curious forms of money, antiquities, manuscripts,
fiscal paper, reference material, and supplies. As a general rule, we do not
inventory pure bullion items such as Krugerrands, Maple Leafs, silver rounds,
ingots, etc., nor do we deal in slabs other than on an occasional basis.
We no longer issue printed or email
listings. We constantly update our
websites so that sold-out items are usually removed or so indicated within a
business day after the sale. New items
are constantly being added as we have backlogs of many thousands of items
awaiting listing.
We are collector-oriented and well-versed in
most numismatic areas. We recognize that collectors are the ultimate consumers
in numismatics, and have catered to them since 1968. We service beginning
collectors as well as those who are intermediate or advanced.
If you wish to see a scan of a specific item,
please FIRST visit our shopping cart site (http://www.novacoins.net/) to see if the
item is pictured. If not, we will
endeavor to furnish you with a scan of either the specific item or a stock scan
in cases where we inventory the item in quantity. We generally do not scan inexpensive items or items which are dark
(base metal circulated).
TERMS OF SALE
All items we sell carry an unconditional
guarantee of authenticity unless otherwise described. Additionally, unless
otherwise stated, we extend a full two week return privilege on every item with
the proviso that the items be returned to us in the same condition as when
shipped.
Our grading is conservative and will adhere
strictly to generally-accepted standards in the area of specialty for each
item.
All items listed are in stock at the time of listing,
but are subject to prior sale. Alternate selections are appreciated since many
items are one of a kind. If ordering as a type, please so indicate -- we will
make substitutions if possible. E-MAIL
reservations will hold items pending receipt of your remittance which must be
initiated upon confirmation. Please
confirm all orders by E-MAIL. A confirmation will be issued for all items
in stock together with a pro-forma invoice.
All prices quoted are in U.S. Dollars. Checks
and money orders must be drawn on a U.S. clearing bank. Orders paid for by
personal checks by customers unknown to us may be subject to a clearing delay
-- orders paid for by certified funds are shipped within one (1) business day
of receipt.
Payment is also accepted in current
UNCIRCULATED foreign banknotes (no coins) at the then current interbank
exchange rates quoted in New York. Please E-MAIL us for rates on volatile or
non-major currencies.
